The benefit for the children and their caregivers of having another adult in their lives to provide friendship is invaluable. I was lucky to have a loving family with 2 parents and 7 siblings that I could rely on for guidance and love. Big Brothers Big Sisters provides a resource of “brother or sister” to a child and that opens up many doors for that child and changes their life.”
