Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties Board of the Year in 2015.
During the Big Brothers Big Sisters of America’s 2015 National Conference Awards Gala, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America recognized local affiliate boards whose leadership results exemplified the highest standard of quality and sustained growth. Three local boards were named Board of the Year, including Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties, BBBS of Greater Pittsburgh and BBBS of Orange County.

The Small Agency Board of the Year Award was presented to Big Brothers Big Sisters of Cumberland & Salem Counties, New Jersey, whose board has provided an incredible level of accountability. Through 100 percent board giving, defined recruitment processes and continuous monitoring of their strategic and annual operating plans, the provides exceptional leadership as they track to meet their ambitious long-term goals.
The Board of the Year award winners are determined by growth in the number of children served, quality and length of mentoring matches as well as increased revenues.
