Impact100 South Jersey, a women’s collective giving fund at Community Foundation of South Jersey, will hold a free membership information session on Friday, November 15, from 9:00 am to 11:00 am at the Greater Vineland Chamber of Commerce offices located at 2115 South Delsea Drive in Vineland. The session will provide details on the group’s mission, goals, and process for selecting grant recipients.
Impact100 South Jersey was established in 2017. The volunteer-run initiative is focused on providing transformative grants to nonprofit organizations in Camden, Burlington, Cumberland, and Gloucester counties. So far, the group has awarded grants totaling $229,000, including $100,000 to Big Brothers Big Sisters Cumberland and Salem Counties.
“There are many outstanding nonprofits working hard to meet the needs of South Jersey. Our goal is to provide these organizations with resources that are generated and dispersed in a way that addresses the unique requirements of our region,” said Kyle Ruffin, a founding member of Impact100 South Jersey. “This is an opportunity to connect with others who share your interests and to learn more about this unique approach that brings women together to generate transformative giving.”
If you are interested in joining Impact100 South Jersey, the membership deadline for the 2020 grant year is December 1, 2019. Total funds raised for the grant cycle and grant application information for non-profits interested in applying for a 2020 grant will be announced in early January.
Although the information session is free, RSVPs are requested by November 13 as space is limited. To reserve a seat or to get more information, please call 856-691-7400.
