Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Cumberland & Salem Counties recently received a cash contribution of $2,067.99 at their 4th annual Financial Seminar from TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, through the bank’s Affinity Membership Program.

Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Cumberland & Salem Counties is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization whose mission is to provide children facing adversity with strong and enduring, professionally supported 1-to-1 relationships that change their lives for the better, forever. Contributions to the organization are used to conduct background checks on volunteers to ensure child safety and provide ongoing support for children, families, and volunteers to build and sustain long-lasting relationships. Studies show that 52% of children enrolled with Big Brothers Big Sisters Of Cumberland & Salem Counties are less likely to skip school, 46% less likely to use illegal drugs, and more likely to get along with family members and peers.

TD Bank’s Affinity Membership Program helps non-profit organizations raise money by receiving an annual cash contribution from TD Bank based upon the average deposit balance held by the non-profit’s participating members.
