BNY Mellon’s Charitable Trust Foundation Awards Grant to Big Brothers Big Sisters

Recently, a representative from BNY Mellon’s Charitable Trust Foundation presented Big Brothers Big Sister of Cumberland & Salem Counties with a $12,000 grant to continue their ongoing mission of helping local children. The grant was provided through the generosity of the Helen D. Groome Beatty Trust, a BNY Mellon Mid-Atlantic Charitable Trust. BNY Mellon Mid-Atlantic Charitable Trusts awards grants based on three principles: integrity, innovation and impact.

This grant will help support existing matches and offer a series of workshops and activities for our older Littles in workforce development training over the coming year. Our first Leaders in Training Workshop was scheduled for February 25th at the Fitness Connection presenting Interviewing Skills and Dress Code course.
